Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the age of 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent within the first round. Then, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's professional career. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first fight in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen employed her impressive wrestling skills to take down McGill and then ended the fight with a the third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last match in the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with her ground and pound techniques and earned an TKO 2nd round win. Her dominance continued and she scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first few seconds and received a bonus for her performance during the night. Her first fight of note came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous victory, and the Fight of the Night award went to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In a last-minute substitute for her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
